A huge part of who I am is my family. So much of my up bringing involves the family. With six kids, negotiation skills are learned at an early age. Fellow Divittorios are tough negotiators!
The Divittorio name has been in the area since Dr. di Vittorio came to to practice surgery at Marshall Hospital in 1971. Dr. Al di Vittorio has been practicing surgery for 37 years and continues to uphold his reputation as an excellent surgeon, a family man, a hard worker and a compassionate man who will not turn patients away based on lack of insurance. Al di Vvittorio has given so much to the community of El Dorado County and he is loved and respected by many!
Misty diVittorio is a wonderful mom of six children, and four grandchildren . Misty sits on the School board, works at the junior college in administration and grant writing, runs her own event planning business, and she created and runs an after school enrichment program. She is a conscientious, caring woman who has enhanced the education system for the community!
Sister Amy diVittorio teaches Spanish at the Junior college and helps run All Outdoors California Whitewater Rafting, the areas premier rafting outfitter. Amy’s focus lies in being the best mother possible. She has a strong sense of empathy, she relates well to others and she keeps interactions with people upbeat!
Sister Alicia diVittorio is a public relations professional that is working with Reardeane Commerce based out of San Francisco. Alicia’s network of friends and professionals span the world. Alicia enjoys being a part of an eclectic group of friends that include variety of cultures.
Brother Albert diVittorio is an SAP consultant. His zest for travel and desire to live in different countries fits well with his profession. Albert has a solid understanding of language and speaks several languages fluently. Albert’s desire to see the world and to know the people in these new lands has connected him globally.
Brother Mike is a master of business with vast experience spanning many professions in the business world. His experience in the military, with start up companies,with real estate companies, and in depth work experience in finance and management are only a few of the qualifications under his belt. Mike is known and respected as a business guru. Currently he audits and evaluates the assets that banks hold nation wide. His knowledge of the real estate and how it relates to the banking world vast and impressive.
Sister Sarah is working to develop cutting edge technology in the medical industry with a start up company. She is a problem solver and hard worker who enjoys a friendly board game, especially since she will probably win. Sarah enjoys a good challenge to keep her mind stimulated and so she is off to medical school.
The other part of my identity is my community of friends, especially those in the whitewater rafting & kayaking communities. My zest for living, thirst for exploration, appreciation for the gift of life, and the ambition to live life to the fullest has helped me to stay grounded with what is truly important. Being of part of this whitewater community has enriched my life and it has encouraged me to take chances and explore new challenges.
